Since the release of Despicable Me in 2010 when Minions were first introduced, they have become a global hit amongst fans and developed a cult following of their own. Mondelez wanted an innovative on-pack promotion tied to the release of the latest movie in the franchise ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ in 2022.

Idea:
Zinc developed a stackable Minion shaped jar that can fit 4 delicious Oreo packs inside. The jar can continue to be used to stock up on Oreos or repurposed as a container for toys. Taking this a step further, the Minions jar has their signature goggles surrounding the outside which can then be detached and used as a brilliant toy for children.
